Search map markers in google maps easily
If you have added custom map markers in google and want to search them in an Android phone, you'll be disappointed to find out that there is no actual search feature in google maps for markers added by you. The only option is to painfully drag the map left and right to find the required marker.
However, there is a third-party app available in play store 'KML/KMZ Waypoint Reader Free'
You can export your kml/ kmz file with all your markers to the app and it'll list out a searchable list of all locations. Once click on the location will automatically open it in Maps app.
This is a lifesaver if you have so many markers.
I work in the oil and gas field and for 5 years we have been panning map to find out locations of wells from hundreds of plotted markers.
